I specialize in helping businesses design their Identity (logo, business cards, letterhead) while taking the time to make sure their company’s brand is visually appealing and makes sense. My little story is that I have been a graphic designer for about 6+ years now and about 2 years on my own as a freelancer. I LOVE my MAC… it helps me create all this fun stuff. In my spare time I love to do little INK drawings and sometimes these are incorporated into my designs. I live just outside of Cartersville, GA with my former Army Ranger husband Cody and my American Bulldog “Rita”. White is where we call home… for now anyway.

* i have lived in orlando, new york city, nashville and savannah.

* in my spare time, i like to paint and make handmade books.
* i have never traveled west of memphis, but have a goal to take an "out west" road trip.
* i used to be a visual merchandiser and think bergdorf's has the best windows.
* i almost majored in photography 15 years ago.

my process

My Process, if you're curious, starts from an initial design brief. This gives me more information about what your business does and how you want to market it. Depending on what project I am working on for you (logo, marketing collateral, etc.) the first thing is RESEARCH. I don't want your design to look like anyone else's and I definitely don't want it to be similar to one of your main competitors. I want it to be better. I will then SKETCH out some ideas giving me freedom to explore the meaning behind what you're trying to accomplish. Next, it's onto the COMPUTER where a lot of DETAILING is put into the design. You will then have a chance to REVIEW your concept(s) and from there REVISING and FINALIZATION takes place. All of my work is CUSTOMIZED to what your business is all about therefore the process might be longer and more expensive than your usual cheap logo from a logo farm. FYI, I don't do any spec work... it's just plain unethical. So anyhow, that is my process in a nutshell.
